You've been living under a rock if you don't know the name Warn Industries, and if you knew the name, you'd have already been able to winch yourself out from under that rock. Its history dates back to 1948, and 1954 brought its first recreational winch. See, we're not talking about a new company with a new product line for overlanding and four-wheeling. This is a seasoned industry leader that innovates new technology for its popular off-road products—in this case, that means wireless control of your winch.

The Warn Hub Wireless Receiver allows you to operate a winch via an app, Bluetooth connection, and smart device from up to 100 feet away. The plug-and-play setup works with most of Warn's truck, SUV, and powersports winches, as well as some truck and SUV winches from Smittybilt. It'll also monitor the winch's battery voltage, and AXON models include info on the winch's load and motor temp. You'll be able to mount it to a tube or flat surface (there are built-in mounting features), and a 6-foot wiring harness allows for sticking the receiver under the hood.

The 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep takes place in Southern California and begins October 10. The four-day event will include highway and backcountry driving by day, with camping at night. In addition to great off-roading the event will include many historical highlights, including exploration of the area used as General George S. Patton Jr's WWII Desert Training Center. The expedition will feature 10 4x4s that are specifically modified for extended off-road travel and camping, with sleeping quarters either in or on the vehicle or in or on a trailer. All participants are chosen by the Four Wheeler staff from dozens of applicants. Overland Adventure began in 2019 and has previously explored Arizona and Utah.

The 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep is sponsored by American Adventure Lab, Bubba Rope, Falken Tire, Midland Radio, onX Maps, Radflo, and Warn.

Detailed coverage of the 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep will publish in the early 2023 issues of Four Wheeler magazine and will include daily coverage, an overview of each participant's 4x4, a look at the overlanding machine each sponsor brought on the trail, an appetizing look at the results of the Overland Adventure Camp Chef Showcase, and much more.
